Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 13, 2026
Cedar Performance uses PayPal to process eligible website payments, QuickBooks Online to maintain Cedar’s accounting records, Google Analytics to understand aggregate website use, and Meta Pixel to measure advertising results. QuickBooks access begins only after an authorized administrator grants consent.
Information we handle
For checkout we store Cedar order details, PayPal order/capture/refund identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and the payer email returned by PayPal. PayPal hosts payment entry; Cedar does not store full card numbers or security codes. For QuickBooks we receive connection identifiers, company name, authorization scope, encrypted tokens, requested accounting records, report results, and webhook notifications.
Website analytics and advertising measurement
When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may collect page visits, approximate location, referral source, browser and device information, and interaction events using cookies or similar identifiers. Meta Pixel may record page views, checkout starts, completed purchases, referral parameters, and related browser or device identifiers so Cedar can measure campaign results and optimize advertising. Cedar disables Google advertising signals and ad-personalization signals in its site configuration.
How we use it
We use this information to understand website use, process and support payments, prevent duplicates, issue requested refunds, create the related invoice, reconcile PayPal activity with QuickBooks, troubleshoot failures, and preserve an operational audit history. We do not sell customer, payment, QuickBooks, or analytics data.
Retention and control
Authorization remains active until it is revoked in QuickBooks Online, expires, or Cedar Performance removes the connection. To request deletion or ask a privacy question, email [email protected].
Changes
We may update this policy as the integration changes. The current version will always be posted here.
