Returns & refunds

Cedar Performance sells tuning, software licenses and ECU services. We do not offer standard merchandise returns or exchanges for these services. Cancellations and refunds follow the terms for your purchase below. The terms accepted with your order or invoice remain in effect.

BMW tune reservations

The BMW Stage 1 or Stage 2 tune is $500. A $50 deposit applies toward that price, leaving $450 due at your visit. You can also pay the full $500 online.

$50 deposit

Your deposit is refundable with at least 24 hours notice, or if Cedar cannot perform the service. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours forfeit the $50 deposit.

$500 paid in full

Your payment is refundable with at least 24 hours notice, or if Cedar cannot perform the service. For a no-show, Cedar retains $50 and refunds $450 through the original payment provider. Contact Cedar for late cancellations.

ECU unlock service

For the $200 ECU unlock service, cancellation or an unsuccessful unlock results in a $185 refund. A $15 cancellation fee applies. Tuning is sold separately.

Cart and bundled appointments

For a missed cart appointment, Cedar retains the total no-show amount shown at checkout and refunds the remainder through the original payment provider. Contact Cedar for cancellations or service changes. The amounts and terms saved with your order apply.

Custom workshop jobs

Approved custom workshop sales are final. Changes or cancellation require Cedar's written agreement. No refunds are offered for change of mind or subjective driving feel. This applies to separately quoted custom or additional jobs and does not replace the refund terms of an existing reservation. The accepted invoice agreement applies to the extent permitted by law.

For a cancellation, refund request or a problem with your purchase, email info@cedar-performance.com or call (972) 821-7664. Include your order or booking reference and explain what needs to change. Contact us before returning or sending a controller.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment provider. The provider and your bank determine when the credit appears. Contact Cedar if you need to check the status of a refund.
