Looking for a 2021 BMW M4 Tune? Cedar Performance & Co. has been hard at work for well over a year developing various levels of calibration for the ‘new’ BMW S58 engine.

The Twin Turbo 3.0 Litre Engine is showing to have great potential. As of the writing of this article, we have produced as much as 775 WHP (with Upgraded Turbos and Upgraded Fueling, Dynojet STD) without yet seeing catastrophic engine failure. Considering the ‘Baseline’ of 470 WHP, that is an astonishing 65% increase in output over stock.

At the present time, while the sample size at such output continues to grow, it’s impossible to say exactly where the S58 engine will finally, and consistently let go, requiring a forged bottom end upgrade.  Be that as it may, we have a large sample size of customers running under 2 BAR (~29.0075 PSI) on various fuels on the stock turbocharger without a single reported failure.

Comparatively, should you desire to push the limits north of 2 BAR, on the quest for 750+ WHP? We have 100% factory-like calibrations already dialed to ensure proper engine management at this output.

Getting Started:

Firstly, currently ALL g82 require a FEMTO Unlock (CLICK HERE) for OBD Flash Capability.

F97/F98 Vehicles produced between 2018-2020 may be eligible for Local DME Unlocks.

ALL vehicles produced after 06/2020 require FEMTO Unlock.

Once you have gotten the DME Unlocked, next we must decide what program suite is proper for your application. Femto OBD, Bootmod3, MHD, or potentially ECUTEK.

Running Ethanol with my 2021 BMW M4 Tune:

The S58 engine responds very positively to Ethanol.  Unlike the B58, the S58 is equipped with dual high pressure fuel pumps allowing for more headroom in the fuel system.  We can take advantage of this extra headroom in your 2021 BMW M4 Tune by running Ethanol fuel instead of, or mixed with Gasoline.  The stock fuel system does still have it’s limitations, and running more than 700 whp will require upgrades to the fuel system such as Port Injection. Our Stage 3 ethanol tunes will accommodate anything from 30% to 85% ethanol mixture, on the factory fuel system.

• Stage 1 ACN91 octane: 11%HP / 13-25% TQ
• Stage 1 91 octane (95 RON): 20% HP / 13-25% TQ
• Stage 1 93 octane: 22% HP / 13-25% TQ
• Stage 2 91 octane: 24% HP / 17-25% TQ
• Stage 2 93 octane: 30% HP / 18-25% TQ
• Stage 3 E30 fuel: 42% HP / 35% TQ
• Stage 3 E50 fuel: 50% HP / 45% TQ
• Stage 3 E85 fuel: 50% HP / 50% TQ
• Stage 4 Moon Tune: 60%+ HP / 60%+ TQ
